King George III

Manuscript DS, signed “George R,” one page, 8 x 12.75, January 26, 1791. Order for the paymaster general to “pay unto Our Right Trusty and Welbeloved Councillor General Henry Seymour Conway the Sum of Twenty six thousand and fifty four Pounds, eighteen Shillings and four pence, the same being certified by you to be due to Our Royal Regiment of Horse Guards.” Signed in the upper left by King George and countersigned at the conclusion by George Yonge. Toning to borders and small edge separations to horizontal folds, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
