Benjamin Harrison

Partly-printed DS as president, signed “Benj. Harrison,” one page, 18 x 13.75, March 8, 1890. President Harrison appoints James A. Tait as “Notary Public for the District of Columbia.” Boldly signed at the conclusion by Harrison and countersigned by Attorney General William H. H. Miller. The red Department of Justice seal affixed to the lower left remains crisp and intact with two missing points. Affixed to a slightly larger sheet. In fine condition, with intersecting folds, trivial soiling, and a small tear to top edge. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
