Partly-printed DS, signed “C. Vanderbilt,” one page, 8.25 x 4, March 12, 1884. Beech Creek, Clearfield & South Western R. R. Co. receipt for an assessment in the amount of $2,500. Signed at the conclusion by Vanderbilt as treasurer of the company. In very good condition, with expected document wear, toning to upper left, cancellation holes, stamps, and notations affecting Vanderbilt’s signature, and the signature faded a couple shades light. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
