English poet, translator, and novelist (1895–1985). ALS signed “Robert,” one page, 6.25 x 8.75, May 24, 1967. Letter to poet Ruthven Todd, in part: “It occurs to me that ‘manna’ was food from Heaven in the other sense of from, and that the crazy accounts of the huge quantities would suggest hallucinogenic visions of starving men on Ergot in the terrible Sinai desert. The Burning Bush was of course a Tamarisk too—host to the manna fly.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
