TLS signed “Wm. H. Taft,” one page, 7 x 9.25, personal letterhead, July 11, 1914. Letter to Edward Bok, in full: “I have your kind note of July 7th. It will give me great pleasure to deliver the lecture you suggest on ‘The Lawyer of Ideals,’ on November 12th at Williamstown. The subject is a good one and is of much importance just at present. I thank you very much for asking me to cooperate with you in the matter.” In fine condition, with trivial creasing and a faint erased pencil notation. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
