Renowned German pianist (1895–1991) especially noted for his interpretations of Beethoven. Vintage glossy 6.25 x 8.75 photo of the composer, signed and inscribed vertically in German in fountain pen, “Wilhelm Kempff 14 VII 64.” Matted to an overall size of 9 x 11.25. In fine condition, with scattered light surface spots, portions of signature and inscription a shade light, and a repaired surface tear to the right side of the mat. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
