Orson Welles

DS, four pages, 8.5 x 14, June 12, 1969. Concerning “a one-hour broadcast on CBS radio network on October 30, 1938, entitled ‘The War of the Worlds,’” Welles authorizes Manheim Fox Enterprises “to use Welles’s name, likeness and voice in connection with manufacture and sale of phonograph records, tapes and other means of reproduction sound.” Signed at the conclusion in black ballpoint by Welles and countersigned by a company representative. Two riders are stapled to the final page, as is a three-page mimeographed exhibit concerning finances. In fine condition, with expected document wear. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
