Czech-American sculptor and educator (1879–1965) who created more than four hundred works during his career. Matte-finish 7.5 x 9.5 portrait of Polasek in a suit and bow tie, signed at the bottom in fountain pen. In very good to fine condition, with noticeable silvering to dark areas of the image, a few surface spots and stains (one affecting a couple letters of his last name), and some light contrast to portions of the signature.
