Notation on the reverse of cover reads, “Irwin autograph obtained in person at Ocean Grove Auditorium New Jersey Aug 3, 1980. A.J. Cipriano.” In fine condition. Cipriano, a member of the National Space Institute and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, wrote the 1979 book America’s Journeys Into Space: The Astronauts of the United States.
