Austrian writer (1862–1931) best known for his sexually charged plays and stories. His 1926 novella Traumnovelle served as the basis for Eyes Wide Shut, the final film directed by Stanley Kubrick. Uncommon 3.25 x 5 postcard photo of Schnitzler in a dashing suit, signed at the top in black ink, “Arthur Schnitzler, Wien, Marz 1915.” Framed to a slightly larger overall size. In fine condition.
