Souvenir typescript, one page, 8 x 10, signed at the top in black felt tip, “Paul Tibbets—Pilot, Enola Gay, 6 Aug 45.” A copy of the memo declaring that “The 509 Composite Group, 20th Air Force will deliver its first special bomb as soon as weather will permit visual bombing after about 3 August 1945 on one of the targets: Hiroshima, Kokura, Niigata and Nagasaki.” Double-matted and framed with a portrait of Tibbets to an overall size of 23.75 x 17.
