Vintage matte-finish 10.25 x 13.25 photo of Dietrich in an elaborate feather-collared dress, affixed to a 14 x 18 mount, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Trabert & Hoeffer, Sincerely, Marlene Dietrich.” In fine condition, with some mild silvering to edges and scattered toning and spotting to mount. From the mid-1930s through the 1940s, the American jewelry firm of Trabert and Hoeffer, in collaboration with the Parisian house Mauboussin, produced some of the most striking high-style jewels of its time.
