Description

Desirable post-Watergate photo from his period of seclusion at La Casa Pacifica

Color 6 x 9 ‘giant’ postcard photo of Nixon smiling in a head-and-shoulders pose, signed on the left side in black ink, “Richard Nixon, 8-12-77.” In fine condition, with unobtrusive corner tip creases and a light paperclip impression to the top. Following his resignation in 1974, Nixon retreated to his home, La Casa Pacifica in San Clemente, California, spending his time in relative seclusion while working on his memoirs. Because of this, Nixon signatures that date to this period are scarce and desirable. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
