TLS, one page, 7.75 x 10.25, February 2, 1903. Wilson writes to Charles G. Sachse. In part: “I am sorry to say that the edition on heavy paper is the only edition of my history which the publishers have yet issued or planned for. I am sure that in the course of time an edition of smaller bulk and on light paper will be issued, but I cannot even predict how soon that will be.” Intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, punch holes to top edge, and some scattered light toning and soiling, otherwise fine condition.
