In full: “Herewith I send you my autograph which you request.” Neatly signed at the conclusion by Lincoln. Matted and framed with an engraved portrait to an overall size of 17.25 x 21.5. In fine condition, with a small spot under the letter’s closing. At the time of signing this request, six states had already seceded from the Union, providing an enormous challenge to the soon-to-be president.
