TLS, one page, 8 x 10.5, FBI letterhead, January 3, 1963. Letter reads, in part: “While I would like to be of service, the FBI, as an investigative agency of the Federal Government, does not make evaluations nor draw conclusions as to the character or integrity of any organization, publication or individual. I regret I am unable to help you and hope you will not infer that we do or do not have data relating to Voice of Women. I would like to point out that I have never publicly expressed an opinion regarding the nuclear disarmament question. However, I do feel it is important that freedom-loving people educate themselves concerning the true nature of communism in order that they will be able to resist its eroding influence…Enclosed is some literature I hope will be of interest to you.” In fine condition, with some scattered light creases. Accompanied by four pieces of literature enclosed with the letter, all dealing with communism. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
