Original sketch of a DNA strand drawn by Watson on an FDC with a cachet honoring postal workers, signed in black ballpoint, “James D. Watson” and blue ballpoint, “Francis Crick.” In very fine condition. Items signed in combination by Watson and Crick are quite scarce, and the addition of an original sketch of their groundbreaking discovery makes this an especially wonderful piece.
