Color satin-finish 19.5 x 16.5 photo of Cernan posing on the lunar surface between the American flag and the lunar rover, signed in blue felt tip, “11th Moonwalker, Last man on the Moon December 14, 1972 Cdr Gene Cernan Apollo XVII,” continuing, “I'd like to say what I believe history will record that America's challenge of today has forged man's destiny of tomorrow and as we leave the moon at Taurus Littrow we leave as we came and God willing as we will return with peace and hope for all mankind,” with the addition of, “God Speed the crew of Apollo XVII ‘Camelot’ my home for 3 days of my life."
