Queen Victoria appoints Charles John Leahy as “an Officer in Our Land Forces…in the Rank of 2nd Lieutenant.” Signed in the upper left by Victoria and countersigned at the conclusion by Edward Stanhope. Blue paper seal affixed to the upper left remains fully intact. In very good condition, with three heavy vertical storage folds and scattered foxing. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
