Partly-printed DS as president, signed “Benj. Harrison,” one page, 6 x 8.75, December 22, 1890. Harrison orders the secretary of state to “cause the Seal of the United States to be affixed to two (2) envelopes addressed 1. To Emperor of Germany on the marriage of his Sister to Prince Victor of Schaumburg-Lippe. 2. To King of Denmark on birth of a Prince, son of H. R. H. Prince Waldemar.” Nicely signed at the conclusion by Harrison. Matted and framed with an engraved portrait of Harrison and a small plaque to an overall size of 16 x 13.5. In fine, clean condition.
