Declaration of Independence: John Morton

An eighteen-pence note, #30035, 3 x 3.25, dated April 3, 1772, printed by D. Hall and W. Sellers, and signed, “John Morton,” “John Sellers,” and “Cha Humphreys.” An ominous warning of “To counterfeiters Death,” is printed on the reverse. In good to very good condition, with small separations along central horizontal fold, scattered pinholes of paper loss, and light overall toning and soiling.
