Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Wilder, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Thomas K. Boyce, Billy Wilder 1950;” and a TLS signed by Wilder, one page, 5.5 x 8.5, acknowledging the photo. In very good condition, with scattered creases and a paperclip impression to top edge of photo. Accompanied by a 1950 TLS from Wilder’s secretary clearing up the apparent different look to the signatures. “The one on the photo was done in the office and was written more carefully. The one on the letter was signed on the set of Ace in the Hole, and was done hurriedly.” Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
