Signers include: Jesse Owens, Cornelius Johnson, Jack Wilson, Ralph Metcalfe, Fritz Pollard, Jr., Bill Robinson (actor), John Woodruff, John Henry Lewis (boxing champion), and Ann “Tidye” Pickett (first African-American woman to represent the USA at the Olympic Games). Moderate overall toning, light scattered soiling, and light paper loss to upper left corner of one page, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from JSA. An outstanding collection of signatures from a group of courageous athletes—Owens was famous for saying in the aftermath of the Games, ‘Hitler didn't snub me—it was FDR who snubbed me.
