ALS signed “Vincent,” three pages on two sheets, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, February 1974. Letter discussing a business dispute. In part: “This money is equal to Toria’s tuition—for this money she is getting no service from you whatsoever or asking for any. I understand you feel this was money earned on films made while I have been with your company—some of it maybe but on the other hand you may have been receiving five percent of it on pictures made long before I came with you and neither Yvonne West or myself ever questioned this…Mr. Liffer made certain remarks that if the issue is forced into some kind of litigation Mary would lose—may I say, David, your only loss could be my friendship and my account—I hope sincerely this does not happen.” In fine condition, with staple holes to the upper left, a few light spots of soiling, office notations to the first page in blue ballpoint and red pencil, and writing lightly showing through from opposing sides. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
