Description

An unlikely quintet of Hollywood heavyweights: McQueen, Newman, Streisand, Hoffman, and Poitier

Lengthy DS, 33 pages, 8.5 x 13, September 28, 1972. Supplemental stockholder’s agreement between The First Artists Production Company and National General Pictures Corporation, and Hoffman-Hyman Productions, allowing Hoffman to purchase a maximum of 50,000 shares of capital stock. Signed on one of the closing pages by Steve McQueen and also signed on other closing pages by Paul Newman, Barbra Streisand, and Sidney Poitier, as well as several others. In fine condition, with staple to top left corner, punch holes to the tops of each page, and a pencil notation to first page. First Artists was a production company set up in 1969 by Poitier, Newman, and Streisand to exercise more control over their projects. They were joined in 1972 by Steve McQueen and by Dustin Hoffman in 1976. An incredible document linking McQueen with four Academy Award winners. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
