TLS, one page, 8 x 11, NBC letterhead, March 21, 1975. Letter to Anita Gold of the Chicago Tribune. In full: “I first must apologize for taking so long to write to you. We have been working like crazy here getting story assignments out for next season. There just never seems to be enough time. My children went wild over the records you sent them. They asked me to send you their ‘thank-you’s’. Lynn is fine and Christopher is growing like a weed. In three weeks he gained 1 lb, 6 oz and is an inch taller. He’s already on cereal. I am hoping for some good weather this weekend so I can burn my faggots. I told my wife’s hairdresser about doing just that and he has not come back to the house since. I finally took some pictures of my Paul Storre pieces which I’ll send on to you as soon as I get them back. I’m taking all the kids to Disney World in Florida next week. They are so excited about it they have trouble sleeping nights. I’ll send some pictures of the gang as soon as we get back.” In fine condition, with scattered wrinkles. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
