American character actress (1875–1966) best-known for her role as the elderly neighbor Matilda Trumbull on I Love Lucy. Patterson’s yellow AFTRA union P&W benefits card, one page, both sides, 6 x 4, dated November 21, 1960. Pension and Welfare benefit card is filled out by Patterson, printing her full name, Hollywood address, birthdate, and Social Security number. Signed at the bottom “Elizabeth Patterson.” She lists her sister as the recipient of her death benefits. Stamped across the front of the card is “Deceased” and “Retired.” Two hole punches to her printed name at top, several office notations, including one lightly affecting beginning of signature, staple holes at top left, and aforementioned stamps, otherwise fine condition.
