Description

Michael Faraday

British physicist and chemist (1791–1867) best known for his development of the first dynamo and the discovery of electromagnetic induction. ALS signed “M Faraday,” one page, 4.25 x 6.75, October 28, 1827 [?]. Brief letter to Mr. Mason. In part: “Be so good as to allow Mr. Shobert to see certain books in the library.” In very good condition, with central horizontal and vertical fold, and scattered soiling, and small blocks of toning around edges. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
