Max Baer

Heavyweight boxing champion of the world, 1934–35. Vintage matte-finish 5 x 7 photo of Baer throwing a jab, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Bill, Best of luck, Sincerely, Max Baer 1936.” Pencil notations to borders, which could be matted out, some light adhesive remnants along bottom edge, and mounting remnants to reverse, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by four unsigned photos, including two of Baer fighting James Braddock. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
