DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, November 19, 1953. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures requests the use of Williams’ name in the film “tentatively entitled The P. O. W. Story…in connection with action and dialogue substantially as follows: A Communist Officer is interrogating prisoners of war in a Communist prison camp. During the questioning he asks one American soldier: ‘Where does your family live now?’ Soldier replies: ‘In Hollywood with my brothers Clark Gable and Spencer Tracy and my sisters Esther Williams and Janie Powell.’” Scattered light creasing and toning, a small staple mark to the top left corner, two punch holes to the top, and a received stamp towards the bottom, otherwise fine condition.
