Description

The Ring’s editor cuts a check from his book shop

Original editor and publisher of The Ring magazine (1887–1972), he was known as the conscience of the sport. The Ring Book Shop business check, 8.5 x 3, filled out in another hand and signed by Fleischer, payable to Braun Co. for $4.65, August 11, 1934. A central vertical fold, small bank stamp to front, a few staple holes to top left, and a couple of creases, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
