DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, September 18, 1954. Request from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer to Clifton Webb, stating, “We are desirous of including in one of our forthcoming motion pictures now tentatively titled ‘It’s Always Fair Weather’ mention of your name in the lyrics of a song entitled ‘Thanks a Lot But No Thanks,’ written by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, and which song may be published.” A few small rusty spots of soiling towards the bottom of the document, a rusty print and small mark from a previous staple to the top left corner, a few faint paperclip impressions, and two punch holes at the top edge, otherwise fine condition.
