DS, in Spanish, signed by Gagarin in red ink on the line designating him “Presidente,” one page, 5.75 x 3.75, Moscow, no date [but 1965]. The document is entitled, in Spanish, “Sociedad De Amistad Sovietico-Cubano,” translating to “Society of Friendship of USSR-CUBA.” The document pays tribute to the heroes of the Bay of Pigs on the fourth anniversary of the unsuccessful American attempt to invade Cuba in 1961. "We salute……the Cuban heroes that built Socialism and defended liberty….Independence to the Country…." In fine condition. Pre-certified Steve Zarelli and RR Auction COA.
