Governor Davis appoints D. W. Doom “a Notary Public in and for Jasper County, in the said State of Texas.” Signed at the conclusion by Davis, and countersigned by the acting secretary of state. Scattered moderate toning and soiling, small tape repairs and mounting remnants to reverse, mirroring of ink and seal at bottom portion of document, and some light damp staining, otherwise very good condition.
