Vintage fountain pen signature, “Frank Sinatra,” at the bottom of a June 9, 1945, TLS to Sinatra, signed by Norbert Connair, president of the Sergeants Club, one onionskin page, 8 x 10. Letter reads, in part: “On behalf of the members of the Sergeants Club of Fort Pepperrell, Newfoundland, I wish to take this opportunity to express our appreciation and sincerest thanks for your honored visit…It is also an honor for me to offer to you Mr. Sinatra, and you Mr. Silvers, ‘Honorary Memberships’ to the Sergeants Club. You have won a place among us by being ‘one of us.’” In very good condition, with intersecting folds, one directly under signature, scattered creases and wrinkles, paper loss to edges, and small area of toning and tape remnant to right edge.
