Fountain pen signature, “Zack D. Wheat,” on an off-white 5.5 x 3.25 government postcard postmarked January 9, 1950. Wheat has also addressed the card. In very good condition, with generally uniform toning (a slightly lighter block surrounding his name), scattered soiling, areas of old adhesive tape residue at the corners and to the left of his signature, and a partial postal cancellation on the reverse.
