American stage actress, writer, theater owner, and producer (1898–1974). Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Cornell as Joan of Arc, signed in-person in fountain pen. In fine condition, with small mounting remnants on reverse as well as a few edge dings. Cornell played Joan of Arc in George Bernard Shaw’s Saint Joan in New York from March–May 1936. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
