The president's elaborately presented autobiography tells the chief executive's life story from his Tampico, Illinois birth to the end of his presidency in 1988. The accompanying tapes offer further insight into the president's life, with each speech personally chosen by the former president for inclusion in the work. Among the selections is his first inaugural address when he warned that "Government isn't the solution...government is the problem!"
