Renowned college football coach (1908–1973) who, after serving as an assistant at Georgetown, Michigan State, and Fordham, became head coach at Boston College. In 1941, he became head coach and athletic director at Notre Dame, his alma mater. Color vintage 8 x 9.75 trimmed magazine photo, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint "To John, May only good things happen to you, Frank Leahy." In fine condition, with a few small edge dings and a couple scattered wrinkles. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
