Vintage oversized matte-finish 9.75 x 13.5 Acme News Pictures close-up photo of an intense Lindbergh in his flight suit and leather aviator’s cap, goggles around his neck, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Mr. P. E. D. Nagle, Sincerely, Charles A. Lindbergh.” In very good to fine condition, with mild edge wear and rippling, and missing top left corner tip, otherwise fine condition. This photograph is one of the most highly prized images ever taken of Lindbergh, who was standing by the wing of the Spirit of St. Louis just after landing at Mitchell Field on Long Island on July 19, 1927.
