Internationally famous star of the Metropolitan Opera, Broadway, motion pictures, radio and recordings was also known as, and played, ‘The Tennessee Nightingale.’ She died tragically in an airplane crash in 1947. It has been claimed that Elvis Presley's ‘Graceland’ mansion was named in honor of her. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo, signed in fountain pen, “Best wishes, Grace Moore 1941.” In very good condition, with scattered creases, surface marks, and impressions and an ink notation to bottom border.
