Actor (1970–1993) best known for his role in Stand by Me (1986) and My Own Private Idaho (1991). Glossy 8 x 10 photo of Phoenix holding an acoustic guitar, signed and inscribed in black felt tip “To Carrie, Peace & love, River Phoenix” adding a ‘peace’ sign in the dark portion of the photo. On the reverse, the actor has written, “Do what you love. If you like poetry, write it! I know I’m into it. River.” In fine condition, with few light bends and light irregular ink adhesion to a few letters. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
