Signed and inscribed in fountain pen on the half-title page, “To Mrs. Lewis Segal from Harry S. Truman, 4/21/56.” Block of toning to the inside board and first free end page from an accompanying 1972 newspaper article on Truman’s death, scattered soiling to the pages, and several small tears and chips to the dustjacket and sunning to the spine, otherwise fine condition.
