Original vintage ink and watercolor presentation sketch, 19.5 x 17.5, done in an unknown artist’s hand depicting Fred Allen and show cast member Bill Smith, with Smith preparing to leave the show to go into military service in World War II, with Smith saying to Allen, “Kinda take care of things while I’m away will ya Fred?,” and signed underneath by 19 cast and crew members including Allen, who added, “Thank God, Bill—You’re going there it is nice and quiet for a change,” and also signed by Portland, Alan Reed, and Maestro Al Goodman. Matted and framed to an overall size of 25 x 23.25. In fine condition, with scattered light toning and foxing to sketch and mat. Oversized. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
