Cuban boxer (1910–1988) who enjoyed success both in the ring and in society life during the 1930s. Vintage 5 x 8 photo of the boxer neatly attired in a suit and cap, signed and inscribed in fountain pen to his trainer, “To My Dear Friend, Dr. Moe, sincerely, Kid Chocolate.” Scattered light creasing, heavier crease to lower right corner, light soiling, and “Dr” traced over by the boxer, otherwise fine condition.
