ALS in French, one page, 4.5 x 5.75, personal letterhead, February 28, 1920. Letter to “Sir of Duruer Tres”. In full: “Just a note to acknowledge the receipt of your check of 40,000 francs and to thank you for the articles that you sent me which I will inspect. You have bought a lot at this sale.” Impressively double gilt matted and framed inside a print of one of his works to an overall size of 42 x 22.
