Two original watercolor, oil, and pencil sketches of Audrey Hepburn on individual off-white 14 x 16.5 sheets, including one for “Moon River.” The first page bears several handwritten notations from Head, including, “A. Hepburn Test 12. Test for Givenchy’s color. OK with Givenchy’s red. Edith Head.” The reverse carries a handwritten note, in part, “No gown rust test with Givenchy’s red and grey…Test of grey ok if not accent ap. Tuesday. Edith.” The second carries her notation in pencil, “Audrey Hepburn, Moon River.” In fine condition with expected mild creasing and soiling, and a few tears to the first sheet.
