Two items: TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, State of California letterhead, August 11, 1967. Letter to an appointee to a state committee. In part: “It is a great pleasure to reappoint you as a member of the Technical Coordinating Committee of the State Water Quality Control Board.”; and a DS, one page, 10 x 15.5, August 11, 1967. Official appointment to the aforementioned committee. Signed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint, “Ronald Reagan.” The gold foil seal for the State of California is intact. In overall fine condition, with block of even toning to the top third of the appointment, wrinkling to both pages, and showing the effects of having been stored rolled in the original mailing tube. Accompanied by the mailing tube and two unsigned pages pertaining to the appointment’s oath of office. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
