Original CAM 2 airmail envelope, 6.5 x 3.75, bearing a horseshoe stamped cachet announcing, “Lindbergh Again Flies the Air Mail,” postmarked Feb. 20, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri, and boldly signed in fountain pen by the pilot “C. A. Lindbergh” vertically along the left edge. Reverse bears two postmarks from Chicago, Illinois and Cincinnati, Ohio. In fine condition, with some scattered light toning and soiling, a few trivial wrinkles, and adhesive remnants to reverse. This item marks an additional time Lindbergh came out to personally fly the airmail on this route. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
