Letter to Col. Rupert of the New York Yankees. In full: “Your telegram of even date comes to hand during Mr. Johnson’s absence from the city. He is expected to return home on Tuesday morning, when his attention will be immediately called to your communication.” Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from James Spence. A mild overall shade of toning, intersecting mailing folds, one through a single letter of signature, and some creasing to left side, otherwise fine condition.
